Terry A. Murray, 59, of Bluffton, IN, and having family members in Markle, IN, died Monday, March 14, 2016, at Christian Care Retirement Community, in Bluffton.
Mrs. Murray had been employed by the Decatur/Bluffton branch of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles since 2003. She had previously worked at the Bluffton News-Banner and at Southern Wells School and was the owner of Mrs. Murray’s Cookies. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
A 1975 graduate of Huntington North High School, she earned an associate degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. She appeared as Snickers the Clown for 10 years and published the I.U. Cookbook.
She was born Feb. 17, 1957, in San Antonio, TX, to George R. and Barbara Boulware Paul. Her parents survive in Markle. She married Darrell G. Murray on June 16, 1978, in Markle, and he survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Matthew (Stephanie) Murray, of Noblesville; a sister, Suzann Paul, of Ossian; a brother, Rex R. (Virginia) Paul, of Angola; and three grandchildren, Kaylee Murray, Ethan Murray and Lily Murray.
Calling is Friday, March 18, 2016, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bluffton North Apostolic Christian Church, 630 E. Dustman Drive, Bluffton. A service will be held at the church on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Steve Frauhiger and Doyle Frauhiger will officiate. Burial will be at the Markle Cemetery, in Markle.
